Alex has always been enamored with all things digital, including an on-again, off-again love affair with programming that began in childhood. After experimenting with various programming languages through the years, in college he was introduced to web development courses in the Digital Media program at the University of Central Florida. An internship at StudioAKT helped refine his skills, and following graduation, he launched his career by accepting a position as a Web Programmer at Web Resource Management. Early in his career, Alex was introduced to Drupal 7 via a client who requested the use of the platform for a new project. Following the initial successes, more and more projects began to be completed in Drupal, including a relaunch of the company website as a Drupal site, working with existing Drupal 6 websites, and experimenting with profiles such as OpenPublish. Today, Alex continues his career at Mediacurrent, working as a Drupal developer.
